About this site

Project Cedarwood is an independent digital archive about 10 Cedarwood Road. It brings together photographs, memories and historical material connected with the house and the people around it.

Information visitors provide

Visitors may choose to provide information through features such as the Visitors’ Book, future contact facilities or future contribution features.

Visitors’ Book submissions are held for curator moderation. A submission may be published in the Visitors’ Book only after approval.

Curator authentication

Restricted curator areas use essential authentication and session technologies to support secure sign-in and the operation of those areas. These technologies are not used for advertising.

Hosting and infrastructure

Project Cedarwood uses service providers to host the site and support its database, storage and curator authentication. These providers currently include Vercel and Supabase.

Analytics

Project Cedarwood currently uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate use of public pages. Vercel describes this service as using anonymized data without cookies.

Curator pages under /admin are excluded from this analytics implementation. Project Cedarwood does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising tracking or custom analytics events.

Essential technologies

Where needed, essential technologies support secure curator sessions and the operation and security of the site.

Analytics

The current Vercel Web Analytics implementation is cookieless. It is used on public pages only, as described above.

Advertising and consent

Advertising technologies are not active on Project Cedarwood. If optional advertising or tracking technologies are introduced in future, the site will use an appropriate consent-management mechanism where required before those technologies are used.

No optional advertising or tracking consent controls are active today because no such technology is active. When optional technologies are introduced, visitors will be able to manage or withdraw consent through the site’s consent-management controls where required.
